Medical Grants

Project 4:7’s grants provide financial assistance to support individuals seeking treatment for mental health.

If you have questions, please go to our Contact Us page.

We are now accepting applications with the funds raised from Run To Overcome.

About our grants:

Grants are awarded based on need up to $1,000 per person per year. We will give out grants until our funds have been exhausted. As our funds grow, so will the number and amount of grants that will be awarded to those individuals showing financial need.

Applicants must demonstrate financial need and live in the state of Nebraska. All funds will be distributed directly to the medical provider to be applied towards a bill, not to the applicant.

Financial needs of the grant applicant will be evaluated and documented through information provided on the application and by submission of a photocopy of the most recently filed Federal tax return (Internal Revenue Service 1040, 1040-A, or 1040-EZ). For single applicants, the income eligibility will be $25,000 or less based on their adjusted gross income as reported on your IRS 1040.  The following scale will be used to determine financial eligibility for applicants with families:

Your Family Size
As reported on your IRS 1040
Adjusted Gross Income
As reported on your IRS 1040
2 $50,000 or less
3 $75,000 or less
4 $100,000 or less
5 or more $125,000 or less

Ineligible Requests:

  • Medical bills already paid or past 30 days due from time of service.
  • Anything deemed non-medical will not be acceptable criteria to submit a grant request.
  • Medicaid, Medicare, SCHIP (which may be called various names by each state), HIS or other state or federally subsidized health insurance programs given to those without insurance or with low incomes.

If your application is accepted, we will send an email confirming the grant award.
